B.A.P has the opportunity to be voted into the Worldwide Act award category. The winner of the Worldwide Act will be revealed during the 2014 MTV EMA in Glasgow.

B.A.P. are now competing against Japan’s Daichi Miura. You can cast your vote here.

Voting for the nominations for the Worldwide Act category will close at 5.59pm (Singapore time) on Wednesday, 29th October. The final list of 10 Worldwide Act nominees will be revealed on mtvema.com on Thursday, 30th October.

‘Liar Game’ to Have a Korean Remake in October

tvN plans to air a remake of Japan’s “Liar Game” in October.

According to a representative from CJ E&M:

“It is true that it will be completed by October. There will be a total of 10 episodes and it will follow ‘Valid Love.‘ ‘Liar Game’ is a popular series not only in Japan but in Korea as well so we plan to cast good actors. After finishing the casting work, we plan to begin filming next month.”

The remake of ‘Liar Game’ will be written by Yoo Yong Jae of MBC’s ‘Time Between Dog and Wolf‘ and directed by PD Kim Hong Seon, who was in charge of SBS’ ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo.’

The ‘Liar Game’ will be the second Japanese series that will be remade in Korea this year, after the remake of the Japanese ‘Nodame Cantabile‘.

Girls’ Generation’s ‘Mr.Mr’ Achieves an All-Kill on Korean Charts and Ranks No.1 In Seven Countries

On February 24, Girls’ Generation released their fourth mini-album online. In just an hour upon release, ‘Mr.Mr‘ was the #1 song on seven different music charts including Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Genie, Soribada and Monkey3.
A few hours later, ‘Mr.Mr’ rose to the top on Naver and Daum Music as well.

Overseas reactions and interests are also getting higher and higher. ‘Mr.Mr’ ranked #1 on the iTunes album chart in seven countries in Asia including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, and ranked #6 in the United States and Canada.

‘Mr.Mr’ will be available for offline release on February 27. Girls’ Generation’s first comeback stage will beheld on ‘M! Countdown‘ on March 6.
